i hit 130 the other day and i so wanted to go faster..damn traffic..i hit about 145 or so in my gixxer 600 but i want so much to get the busa up that fast...cant people get out of my way..now on the grown up aspect of it i know i shouldnt be goin that fast but its just so easy..this bike gonna get me locked up..my life already messed up last thing i need is to get busted but so much fun...sshhhh dont tell the leo

It is so hard to roll off that throttle. I usually wait until about four in the am. I set my alarm for 0330, grab a quick cup of Java, and roll out. Up here in Alaska, the traffic is non existent at that time and I can have a little fun. Just gotta watch out for the meese (that is mooses).

Yes,
The Busa is very fast and very fun to ride... no question.
It does get up to insanely fast speeds in only a few seconds (if that).  But be mature about were you apply your speed.

When riding  I constantly remind myself of the "legal" consequences of MY fun on public roads.  Being at a point in my life were I can afford the two wheel and four wheel toys I want I really dont want a legal problem to come along and attempt to take it all away from me and my family...
I actually installed a Throttlmeister on my Busa just to help me monitor and maintain legal speeds on my one or two times a week when I ride into the office rather than drive... It was a good investment!!

Just wait till you roll into it and you think I am doing 140. Then you look down and your doing 160+. I have taken mine to the limit twice and it was just smooth as silk. The bike is so stable and smooth at speed that it gives you a false sense of security. Be safe and pick your place and times to go fast wisely!

Thanks for the input. I am 37 Years old and have ridden a bike before.  I was on an open stretch of Highway 80 and it was for only about 5 seconds then I slowed down to 95.  

The Scariest part of the ride was the fact that it was SOO SMOOTH !!!

Qutoed for truth. I was crusing enjoying the view (Nice water here in Tampa area) feel like i was doing 7o and im doing 110. lol. it was sooooo smooth, already got her up to 130 and it did it with hesitating. lol.

When I got my busa 2 years ago it was the fastest street bike, or car for thar matter, I had ever sat on, but if you guys think your busa's are fast put a small stage 1 turbo on it gives you about 100 more horsepower over stock, on pump gas and it will adjust your attitude real fast. BE SAFE GO FAST

how does anyone think they are doing 70mph and the realize they were doing 110mph...80mph is usually my limit to sitting upright then i have to tuck so i dont get the sh!t beat out of me by the wind
