Guaranteed to run hot under the collar if very heavy stop start traffic.....especially if it doesn't have twin cooling fans and an upgraded cooling system.
Give it wide open spaces with plenty of air to its lungs ...that's what it will love.....
Sure looks good in the black and orange....nice bike all round .....
They are very good HP figures at the wheel I must say......
(fiend)
not low 8's. maybe high 8's tho. goin low 8's requires quite a bit more power then that.
I would say it should go low 8s with the right rider if its tunes right. Mine went 8.81 on a stock motor
I don't know Dude.
You bike runs exceptional.
With a real hamburger eating American rider, I'm betting high to mid 8s.
My bike at 225 hp went 8.98 at 157, and I suited at 260#.
OP looks like a pretty stout fella.
Lee's AND Carpenter's dynos have always boasted large numbers!!
My 1441 went 226 on JohnnyCheese's dyno and 242 on Third Coast's dyno the very next day.
Dyno numbers vary!!
First thing dyno numbers mean nothing in the real world! It's not going to last on the street!Get yourself a turbo and have real fun!But if your a person who likes all motor get yourself a zx14r or wait till the new BUSA comes out!

My busa was taken out to a 1397 and even with the best coolant, new radiator etc etc if I got caught in stopped traffic (for as little as 5 minutes) with outside temps in the 30 C ie 86 F range you could literally see the temp gauge rising. Summer time over here is Australia is brutal on your busa's cooling system and it certainly gets tested.
What I had to do was fit the bike with a twin thermo fan setup just to give that little bit of help!
Once you start moving and let the air flow through it will never get hot ... provided there is no internal dramas unfolding (cracked head, blown gasket etc etc).
I guess a lot of heating issues has to do with where you live and what the daily temps run at. I never get to see the snow where I live so its almost always hot and sunny........
