That's probably the realistic answer. Especially since some V-Twin riders make it appear their bike can't idle with loud pipes, gotta keep twistin' the grip. The unknowing may relate this to power.

People probably look at it as this: American muscle cars have more power than the japanese car's do and assume like wise when it comes to the Harley's VS. the Sport bikes. Just my thought on that.

truth is until you ride a modern japanese sportbike, you have no idea how fast,powerful they are.
