I simply state facts. A stock Busa is not going to produce 178 rwhp, plain and simple. Tube wraps, block off plates, exhaust, etc. Minor mod's.
If 178 hp is true Yoshimura could use some help. They need internal changes to make this power.
I have been on the Dyno, and put on a exhaust system, remap, air filter, etc.
It would be best to know the starting HP of F. Cops stock Busa for comparison. Is this guy really a cop? IF so, not a good one it would seem. Oink

We all know how easy it is to phony up the dyno printout numbers by fooling with correction factors.... A common trick, performed by unscrupulous dealers upon naive suckers, who are impressed by the "seemingly amazing feats of magic" performed. "Wow, my dealer is a tuning genius". Hehehe...suckers!

corrected sae hp is what you want to compare. try another dyno and cross check you might be surprised.
A stock GSXR750 '99 will put out approx. 116 rwhp. To get to 128 rwhp some mod's are in order, or an incorrect DYNO.
Have you run the 1/4 mi?
fiberglass heat wrap on the tubes?? you mean the head pipes or ram air ducts?

Here's the latest info on the LAPD fiasco:

Los Angeles police chief Bernard Parks said Tuesday a massive board of inquiry into the corruption scandal engulfing the department would review hundreds of criminal cases, Wednesday's Los Angeles Times reported.

Parks said more than 50 officers would participate in the inquiry, which is expected to take at least six weeks, according to the Times, and would review what may turn out to be hundreds of cases prosecuted with the testimony of tainted officers.

This is just the beginning of the investigation," the Times reported Parks telling City Council members, adding that he expected more officers to be implicated in the scandal. So far, 12 officers assigned to Rampart, which patrols a crime-plagued, mostly poor and Hispanic district west of downtown, have been suspended or fired.

Fearful that the scandal could spawn civil lawsuits costing the city millions of dollars, City Attorney James Hahn and Parks met privately with the City Council at the request of council members who would have to approve any settlement.

Earlier Tuesday a judge suspended severe restrictions on the right to meet in public slapped on a notorious street gang, amid suspicions that police officers lied in the sworn testimony used to trigger the crackdown.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Bascue suspended a ruling that barred members of the 18th Street Gang from associating with one other in public.

The scandal is also being probed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department's civil rights arm.
