Except (everything) seems to have been painted white. Plus, the white on my 06 LE is a frosty white, not appliance white.

Yes, I know the 06LE its white and gray, I loved mine. I just thought of that trying to think what the previous owner was trying to go for.
@Thelocksmith check the inside of the plastics or under the tank. I doubt they painted that.
