I just found out I may have to replace my crank. My question is should I go with a 1340 crank over stock since I'm down there. I had already planned on getting getting a head and cam package or a 1397 bore done before the good news. Is it worth it and what would be the the gain? I'm 160 so weight isn't an issue.

Contact Jay @ APE they are running a special on OEM Suzuki 2nd gen cranks. They are definitely worth the money.

If you put 84mm pistons in it will give you a 1441. The 2nd gen crank without the pistons is how you get a 1340. You get stock reliability because it is an OEM crank

Where you located, i have a few cranks and parts here that might can get you rolling. 2007 mint complete engine available also bolt and go

I'm in Va goldenchild, I'm leaning on the g2 crank from ape and the big bore but lmk what you got. Fiend how street will it be? Two fans two batteries?

I see "OR" in their..... if you get the crank are you still gonna do a H/C or 1397cc setup? If you have too buy a crank I would throw a 1340 crank in it... You probably wont see much gain if your still running the stock head and cams because the Gen 2 busa has a much much better flowing head on it then a gen 1 does stock vs stock. I would say 2-5whp-2-5wtq..

If you can afford to do the crank and a Cam package or head/cam package that would work nicely. Shouldnt be any reason you couldnt make 185-200whp..

Been researching a bit and I'm going to go with the 1340 crank for now and the 1397 head later depending on what the mechanic hit me for :crowbar:. Ape for the parts?
