First thing I did once I realized how pussified my Yosh sounded was remove all the packing. Any ideas on a decent used system?

Which can do you have . Your post that describes good music and performance after removing the packing does not say if it's the race core muffler or the quiet one ,whatever it's called . Zyclone , something like that .

You can always increase both the number and or size of the flutes in the core pipe before bailing .

I don't know which, I thought the baffle was the same in both, it's the packing that's different. It's louder now, sounds much better, but I want a deeper tone. It has just the baffle in the can, so it has the hollow, tinny sound. I like it more than I did, but I'd prefer something else. My mod money is dwindling fast, (Shinko, sprocket, chain, shifter, clutch, clears) so I won't be able to afford a Hindle til the off-season. I'm tryin to contact Johnny cheese about a PC#, maybe we can work out sumthin.....
