2 different keys for '04???

I just bought a used 2004, it came with two seperate keys.  One for the ignition, the other for the fuel and glove box.  is that correct?  Bike's got 16k mi, could someone have changed the ignition system which required a new key?  This sounds odd since my '01 GSXR600 uses just one key for everything.

Yup, That is Odd... And it would certainly raise some questions. Now it's possible that the owner had some legit reason but I would be asking some questions.

First question is what kind of condition is your Busa in and how much did you pay?

Dude sounds to me that your bike encounter some sort of abuse or neglect.
Most likely it was a recovered stolen bike...........
I have a 04 and there is one key for it all.....

One Key fits all unless the hump or ignition had to be changed...

With a new ignition key the first thing that comes to mind is an attempted theft. Any locksmith should be able to rekey the lock so you only need one key.

My 04' has only one key.

i recieved 2 keys with mine. Just a duplicate of the other. One key fits all.
