20 years in the making

It's definitely Bash Time. Planted a seedling 20 years ago plus or minus a few years. I've watched it slowly grow over the years; I would say it's between seven and eight feet in height and spans close to ten feet. This is the first year it has had flowers on it.

Beautiful. Makes me a bit homesick I guess. Was at Shaw AFB in Sumter for 10 years and loved the area. Worth the wait and hope she blooms for you every year now!

I have always loved dogwood trees, even when I was knee high and running through the woods I grew up in. They're everywhere in this area. I won't bore you with the story about the tree and the flower.
