on a thread about that other kawi bike, yet to be seen, someone mentioned that suzuki was gonna update the fairings to be more areodynamic.

Has anyone see any articles on this?

Go to the Yosh-Japan site and check out the red RaceBusa in the pictures from the Suzuka races. There is a distinctly differant upper fairing with differant air inlets.
But all this really means is that a Japanese race bike has a differant fairing. The Yosh-USA/Suzuki of Rad Greaves is a one off piece made from a mold of the stock fairing.

This is probably bullshit.
It was most likely just some hardcore kawasaki guy,who doesn't like its looks.
And that was just his way of talking poop!!
But i could be wrong.
Whats everyone else think about this??

Suzuki is the most secretive about their plans in 2000. I have heard the stories also.
But, motorcyclist magazine did confirm something that was implied earlier from a contact within Suzuki.
The GSXR is getting a new face-BABY BUSA front fairng, eng mod's to the tune of 120+ hp, plus a stiffer frame. An artists interpretation is shown in the article along with alot of other manufacturers plans for 2000.
Will know by Sept. or October.
