2000 or 4000?

My dealer told me that "in order to have the bike covered under Suzuki warranty, it must be serviced at 600 miles, then at 2,000 (??) and 4,000 miles" If I'm reading the Hayabusa booklet correctly, the maintenance schedules a second service at 4,000 miles not 2,000. Are they pulling my leg? What does your dealer advise you? And what about those who do their own maintenance, are they voiding the waranty?

The shop service manual says the same thing as your bike manual!!

Your dealer must be hurting for mo-money in the service area??
