DAYUM....... Stoner was determined. I bet Valentine Boy Rossi was upset.

As I have said in another thread.....it is always good to have chase vehicles....and right now that is the Roberts Team.

Good race Bluehaya!!

your boy Stoner rode exceptionally well. I seriously thought Vale would've made some sort of pass on the last lap but it never really matieralized. It seems like Vale figured out how to get into the Duc's slipstream and then beat Casey on the brakes.

Well, we've got nothin' but twisties coming up. Is Stoner up to the challenge?

I didn't think Stoner was up for the challenge before, but after winning 4 out 7 races
SHOCKED.gif
And Catalunya is a pretty decent twisty track, not as much as Estoril/Laguna/Sachsenring.

But I think Stoner is a bigger threat than Pedrosa now to Rossi. Its gonna be a great season for close racing.

The top 5 in Catalunya had all 5 manufacters!!
Ducati
Yamaha
Honda
Suzuki
Kawasaki

I just hope they figure out their chasis and start getting into the top 10

Stoner is learning what Rossi looks for, I think. Rossi is obviously a great late braker, but sometimes that steers him too wide.

I enjoyed this last race most of all. Hopefully this is a showing of what is to come.

I still think Rossi is the man, just look at his qualifying results. As soon as michelin gets their race tires figured out, Stoney is goning down

I like Stoner, he's a KID, LOOKS
SHOCKED.gif
like a kid in a candy store, and really acts like one. It's great to see some personality of EXCITEMENT in MotoGp. Rossi is always Happy and "It was a Fantastic Race" ! Nicky (when he's in the top 3) just looks surprised
wow.gif
. Pedrosa always looks

mad at the World (I have NO idea why) . But Stoner is a Marketing Dream. And of course, he ride a DUCATI

2 quotes from www.superbikeplanet.com I thought were good;

Nicky Hayden has said it, Ducati team manager Livio Suppo keeps saying it -- stop talking about the bike and start talking about how well the man riding it is doing his job. They have a point.
and

Casey did mention that he was 'disappointed' by Valentino's first pass on him. Vale cheerfully agreed that it was indeed an on-the-limit move and offered Casey a deal: he wouldn't do it again if Stoner stopped passing him on the straight.
Huge news!!

I just saw Kurtis @ CA Speedway couple months ago for the AMA race. He was struggling to stay in the top 20. CRAZY!!

Well at least I don't have to remember a new name for MY LAST place pick

I guess my resting big brother isn't gona help me Charles

Good news I hope for us Nicky fans!  Nicky talked Honda into turning down his traction control and the new chasis is giving him a better feeling

So he's backing it in and sliding again

and hopefully the tires will make race distance

The really good news is that MotoGP has got its world champion back. Nicky Hayden has been fast in the wet and dry. He's using the chassis he tested after Barcelona and at last he's got some feel. He's also persuaded HRC to turn the electronics down, he's got a lot less traction control which means he can ride the bike a bit loose again: 'I haven't forgotten how to ride. When I pushed, I crashed; with less traction control I can push harder—you don't need it like with a 990.'

Not that Nicky is getting carried away, for instance he was not pleased at only improving by two-tenths on his last qualifier, but, as he said: 'Lately good days have been hard to come by.' What really cheered everyone up was that it looked like the old Nicky out there with the bike sliding, spinning and making some odd shapes. Just like old times.
