<span style='color:red'><span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>Attention: Rule amendments</span></span>

While scoring the first race, we came upon a couple situations the rules didn't clarify enough.

1)When scoring the QP to RAC position change, riders that do not classify(dnf or didn't start) are not considered in scoring the points.  To be awarded gainer or loser points, the rider must be classified by motogp.com(assigned a finishing position).

2)In QP to RAC postion change sometimes riders will tie.   The situations below show how points are awarded;

1 biggest gainer             16 pts
1 2nd biggest gainer       8pts
1 3rd biggest gainer        4pts
No other gainer points awarded.

2 biggest gainers tie   each get 12 pts    16+8=24/2=12
Basically, you add 1st pts and 2nd gainer points then divide them between the 2 racers equally.
1 2nd biggest gainer      4pts
No other gainer points awarded.

2 biggest gainers tie   each get 12 pts    16+8=24/2=12
Basically, you add 1st pts and 2nd gainer points then divide them between the 2 racers equally.
2 2nd biggest gainers tie  each get 2 pts    4/2=2
Basically you take the 4 points and split it equally between the riders tied.
No other gainer points awarded.

1 biggest gainer       16pts.
2 2nd biggest gainers tie  each get 6 points   8+4=12/2=6
Basically you take 2nd and 3rd place points add them together then split them equally between the tied racers.
No other gainer points awarded.

3 biggest gainers tie   each get 9.3 pts  16+8+4=28/3=9.3
Basically you add 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gainer pts then divide them equally between the 3 racers.
If 4 or more racers tie for biggest gainer, you divide 28 by the number of riders tied for biggest gainer.
No other gainer points awarded.

1 biggest gainer          16pts
1 2nd biggest gainer     8pts
4 3rd biggest gainers   1pt each   4/4=1
Basically you take the 4 points remaining and divide it equally between the tied racers.
No other gainer points are awarded.

The same formula, different numbers though, is also applied to biggest position losers.

Its kinda confusing, especially having to type it out.  Any questions, just PM me and I'll send you my phone number and we'll work it out

<span style='color:red'><span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>Another Rule Amendment</span></span>

There are 6 riders that nobody picked.  Hopkins, Barros, Guintoli, Nakano, Pitt, and McWilliams.  These riders are not considered when scoring QP to RAC position change, Fastest Lap, Highest Top Speed, Most Wins, Most Podiums.  In other words if Hopkins sets the fastest Lap and Rossi sets the 2nd fastest Lap, Rossi gets 15pts because Hopkins doesn't matter since nobody picked him.

Ilmor has pulled out of the season. There are now 19 riders on the grid.

Good thing no one picked Pitt or McWilliams

they had to show the organization at the beginning of the year they had ALL their $$$$$ inplace to race in ALL the races ? What happen to that rule

. Kinda cheapie to go to ONE race and quit. Sure doesn't say much for the MotoGp Group or their inspections on Team Abilities. I know in F1 you have to show the MONEY FIRST, to be able to Play !!!

I think motoGP is hurt'in for teams, so they're willing to try and work with them Dorna has been helping out the KR Team and probably some of the other low budget teams also.

They're try'in to keep more than 20 on the grid.

Remember to PM your teams for the next race in Jerez. FP1 starts Thursday night

Well, considering your suppose to build your own motor (not related to a street motor or based off of one) , and your frame. It's not surprising that not many have the $$$$ to compete with the factories. And unless you can show a sponsor why they should annie up LOTS OF $$$$$$ and not have a chance of winning. Well

I see the field getting alot thinner
