Welcome brothern; your story sounds a little familar. I had a 600 Katana 06 b4 I got my BUSA for about a year. I also wanted a black one going in and blue and red were the only ones available (one of each). I think both colors look very nice, I picked the blue partly b-cuz it was upstairs where most cust. cant go so i figured it probally hadn't been messed with too much. Mine had .6 miles on the odometer when I left the lot. Congrats on your new addiction! Show your family you deserve the BUSA... Stay safe and RESPECT it!!!
congrats on the new bike...you showed a lot of sense in getting the 650 first and riding it for a while so i am sure you will continue to do the same while learning how to handle the upgrade to the 'Busa...just give your family time, they may never learn to accept your choice but after a while they just wear down and shut up...your job is not to give them any more ammo to use against you (no wrecks, tickets, jail time, etc.)...hope you have a great time and enjoy your beautiful ride for years to come

well well well thanks guys for all the feedback and warm welcoming.
so far its been almost a month, just over 1500 miles ans still no issues whatsoever, I keep on driving nice and easy, other guys with supersport 600 give me **** saying I ride like a harley guy but I m not sure I really care how fast I can take that onranp ( one 600 guy told me :"like dude, i can pass cars over the 101 ramp and still get up to 120,")
by the way still no mods, trying hard to keep my promise of keeping her stock, I did get all the warning stickers off and the front and rear suzuki ones too, didnt hurt....

I just got the same bike a couple of weeks ago. I've got almost 400 miles on it but the season is about to end here. I'll be lucky to hit a thousand this year. I'll bet you can ride year round you lucky SOB . I'm coming of a gxsf750 so it's quite a power difference to me as well, although I've been riding 16 yrs now. Well good luck to you ! PS I wasn't a fan of red either but this one is definatly nice and grows on you.

yeah ridding year around here in Phoenix, good stuff. I actually just move a little ouside the city so even more riding is going to happen

and that color is growing on me for sure, kind of different. I keep it nice and waxed so when I got that az sun baking on it , its does look candy indeed

The more the merrier, so let me know if and when. So far, 3 'Busas on a regular basis, and we're looking for more. I know there's a group that gets together in Mesa, but I don't have any details yet.

I couldn't agree more...That Red color is SMOKIN'!!!!!!!!! Very sharp bike.. thanks for posting up the better pics.. Beautiful Busa, dude.
