2008 Mirrors

I can not find this now, but I saw a custom bike that had vid screens placed into the rear view mirrors, which allow them to actually use smaller arms for the mirrors which made it looks sweet.

Anyways, they had a couple cameras installed under the back and each mirror was a video that provided a better view than any traditional mirror ever could.

I seriously wish I could find it now.

I can see the point of that on a car (reversing and such), but on a bike?

I have enough to worry about with what's ahead of me, not sure there's much I can do about what's going on behind.

If you would just drive faster everything would be behind you.

Em...Hate to play the devil's advocate here, but rather than have bloody ugly elongated mirror stems, wouldn't it be better to simply move your elbow closer to your body when you look in the mirror?

Not safe, in my opinion. I'm a big guy as well and I don't wanna have to contort when I need to see if I can lane change RIGHT NOW.

Looking at the Burkhart Cycle extenders folks in here recommended. Hope 1" is enough to make a real difference.
