2008 Vs. 2011

I believe the 2010 they went with an oiler on the 4,5,6 gears in the tranny to cut down on noise.
No faster unless you have the fastest GENII model which was 09 blue and white they only made a few of them.
 
Mileage comparison well I would have to say
You would have to attack it like a set of tires
If it looks abused it probably has a fair amount of
Mileage!!:beerchug:
 
I think the best way to look at this problem is from an engineering perspective. Since, as Tufbusa pointed out, odometers are not a standard feature, the best way to predict performance characteristics is by a thorough evaluation of service & maintenance records and an inspection to be sure that all engineering tolerances are within spec.

If everything checks out, then you're good to go regardless of true mileage. If any components are found to be out of tolerance, then you have the option to replace the unit with a newer model or run to failure.

Records can be forged or hidden in a closet, the head performance along with testing the bore and stoke will tell you all you need to know.:poke:
