That is the truth!! I remember my ride up from the gorge on the DR last year.. it was FUN FUN FUN though!!!

Or when a few of us rode back from Maggie Valley after dinner. In the rain, at night, on the frickin highway, soaked to the bone and loving the snot out of the experience!

It USED to be...Now Ms. Reba (who actually owns the road) Let's us block it off on Friday and Saturday nights.

But as a word of caution: During the week and before it's blocked off on the weekend, i would keep your eyes peeled when crossing. The locals love to fly down that road as a shortcut and well...err...they tend to be a little hard on the Tourists....
