2012 Gen II Color the US didn't get...

Like all manufacturers, Zuk carefully watches the market. If the new ZX14 pulls too many sales away, look for a Gen III in 2014.

The initial ZX14 was launched 2006 and Zuk responded in 2008 with the Gen II. My guess is same approach will follow 2 years from now.

You really don't want to know how much fairings cost from Canada.

The exchange rate is rough now days....

I got lucky and brought back a 2003 Black SE BUSA from Canada....it was worth it! :beerchug:

....just need to find someone in Canada that wants a white one and swap plastics...

That color is too fast for our roads here in the states. Thats why they don't make'm Red anymore ! Gives the rest of you guys a chance to compete!

Why is that? Even if you take it out of country?

Cause we get screwed all the time. For example, a windshield for my snowmobile up here is $98.59 and in the US it's $80.38. The price doesn't vary with the exchange rate for us. Plus in Manitoba we have to pay 12% taxes. If I were to buy the windshield in the US I could get back any taxes that you'd charge me. Add it all up[ and it's almost 35% more up here. You would be crazy to come up here to buy things and then take them back to the states.

It's pretty ridiculous. I've actually shipped a huge front fender for a Kawasaki ATV for hundreds less to a customer in Canada when he had a dealer less than 5 miles from his house. The hardest part about getting a good deal to customers in Canada is always at the mercy to shipping costs when it comes to anything bigger than an oil filter sometimes

Why do they not shipped some colours over to the US? Like for example, the 2011 blue is not available in the US? Correct me if I'm wrong...

I like this color--kind of reminds me of my '06--it was like a raspberry/black color. But, I'm still kind of partial to my '08 orange/black.

Different market's I would guess. All of the Jap company's do the same thing. Honda seems to give a lot of the "cooler" color schemes to Europe when it comes to the CBR's

Man, I'm lovin that color scheme.... might have to move to Europe :D:D

Someone at Suzuki USA must be lurking this board and heard we like the color too!

Just in case:

WE THINK IT'S TIME FOR A GEN 3!!
