2017 GSXR1000 lacking power, why?

Ok, ok, ok.....
NEWSFLASH!!
We fitted a OEM GSXR1000L7 standard headers and catalyst sent to us by SUZUKI NZ and fittedthe Yoshi can to it . . . .
Guess what?
Yup, full power returned, all the horses that had left the stable have now returned and are grazing happily in their paddock lol.
We can only assume the catalyst was damaged/ blocked for whatever reason.
The owner has had the bike since new and swears he never used leaded avgas in it.
It’s a mystery as to why it was blocked, I’d love to cut that cat open and survey the damage to the matrix of the catalyst, but that won’t be happening.
Anyway the owner is a happy boy, got all his horsies back..... yeeeeeehaa!
I am posting here for future referance, for others experiencing the same loss of power on L7's in the future.
Conclusion: Buy full race headers, remove the catalyst and make sure u get a better curve. Race or not, it will after a while result in the same drop of power cause of poor production of oem headers.

After experiencing horrendous drop in Horsepower in my Suzuki Gsx-r1000 L7 and extremely poor warranty in norway. I decided to check it out myself. Lets just say, production of OEM headers from Suzuki is poorly executed.

Here's pictures of my catalyst simply "loose and blocking". This is not a race bike, a streetbike with Akrapovic slipon, with mapping. 30k kms and such a vital part of the exhaust has loosend and nudget itself in a bad way for the engine to breath.

Check attached images, if u experience drop in power or same symptoms as faulty spark plugs over 9000-12.000 rpms, make sure its not ur catalyst!
