2024 Gen3 6000miles DISASTER - Advice Needed

Am i correct in reading this, (However, after inspecting it, they found no oil on the filter and claimed that the overfill wasn’t the issue.)

If there is no oil filter on the bike, where did it go?

The dealer was the last to work on the bike, time to get the Better Business bureau involved, as well a lawyer

When you say the builder did a tune on the bike, what exactly does that mean, or what are the details of how and the method used to tune the bike?

"I began noticing a rattling noise around the radiator when the bike hit 6,000 RPM, in every gear. The noise wouldn't appear while on a bike stand or on concrete, only under load during riding."

Spit balling here. Let's set aside an internal engine problem for a moment. Could the rattle noise be associated with the new header? A loose fastener or bracket that rattles at certain engine speeds / loads?

When the sound occures, does it change (frequency / volume) with engine speed (between 6-7k) or remain steady?

Was the air box removed to install the velocity stacks? Trying to think of things in the vicinity of the radiator...

Any debris in the oil filter?

I checked the and retorqued the head bolts after 2,000 miles after install once I first noticed the rattle and it was constant at 6-7k in every gear. I figured it was a loose header bracket, fastener, bolt, etc. Unsure if they removed the airbox to install the velocity stacks. No metal in the oil to report. Eager to see what they find to be the reasoning this is happening. Once I took it to the dealership to check it out it came back with a clean diagnostic which I assume is only engine code based and told me it was a weird acoustic like wind going thru the exhaust springs.

No, the filter was on the bike but due to it not being covered in oil the overfill was ruled not the problem by the dealership. The damn bike was fine before taking it in for the recall.

He hooked it up to his dyno and turned it for the Brocks AH2 system. This guy is the best in the Houston area with a huge reputation, several bikes done and some of the fastest in the Hondo 1 mile airstrip competition. Def not his first rodeo. I would be talking out my ass as far as the method used to tune the bike.

Did you read what I wrote properly?? I'm asking if he got it flash tuned ("...I see you got it tuned - flash tuned, right?"). And I didn't claim "nobody 'walked away'". I wrote, "I wonder if that might be cause for Suzuki to walk away." It's a speculative statement. Does that clarify things, or do you still have a problem?
Suzuki at this moment has said nothing about the modifications to the bike, they are waiting for the pictures of inside the block and waiting for dealership to determine the failure.

I was asking about the oil filter.......and whether there might have been some sort of defect with it causing a partial blockage.....
My bad I'm an idiot and was multitasking. No idea I haven't had time to lay eyes on it. Only drove it that day from dealership and trailered it right back to them the following week. I didn't want to mess with the oil/oil filter to show them their mistake and so they couldn't try to pass the fault to me.

For sure........it is quite a thing to have it run fine before going in and then not coming out of the dealership......

If the oil filter was partially blocked due to a defect, it would starve the engine for oil pressure and might cause the oil light to flicker like it did

I think we will all awaiting the report from the shop to see what caused this......

A very sad thing to happen.....

Hate me for it, my guess is he got into your ECU and timing was too far advanced.

There were a few Gen 3 issues where a valve stem retainer came loose, but you would have heard the noise, even at idling.

These motors are pretty bullet proof, unless they are tampered with

I hope I am wrong.
