Hi guys and gals, finally made a jump from a 900rr up to a blk/gry 05 busa...wow. It is stock for now ( had it 2 days) have been playing with the idea of a 240 or 300 trac kit for it. I am not a big twisties fan and out here in hot azz arizona so it should be alot of desert riding. I am getting the hmf high mount with the pcIII ( do i need to gethe usb version?) and doing the airbox mod first. but back to the main question , can a 240 rear be comfortable on the street? I love the 300 look but i can't see how it could even be streetable..any help is much appreciated....

I'm kinda in the same boat, flirted wit the idea, only thing is, I dont think the HMF's will work with the big tire conversions, I think only a right side single can set up will work and even then, one guy said he had to "clearance" the inside of his frame to make it work. The guy who has the 03 LE for sale with the 240 conversion said the bike handles great, then again he is trying to sell the bike.NJ.:)

Putting a 240 kit on my bike next week.....I like the straights not much on the twisties, but Im confident I can ride them just not as fast. Im using a Trac 6inch swing arm.

ok I have decided on a 240 trac kit 6 over and it seems that every post i find on HMF's mention clearance issues on the left side.

BTW has brock ever done a high mount hindle street system might want to send that to veltune ..bet that would look sweet..let me know what you think...
