I just bought a 2000 busa with a muzzy big bore kit and a nitrous express wet kit and was told it had a 110 hp shot i would like to drop it to a 60 hp to start out with how do i find out what jets to change to?
whoa, thats alot of juice, better make sure the motor is bulletproof.
I would pm johnny cheese or contact brockdavidson racing or schnitzracing for their suggestions.
first cause it came with a 110 shot kit don't mean that's what's in there, somtimes those are marketing ploys to get you to buy something like 24's on a lemon.if you have any kind of mechanical skills, lift the tank pull a jet out of one of the nozzles and remember where it came from and post here the jet # and we can tell yo about what size shot they got it set up for also mention the solenoid brand.nx or nos kit.
I went to pull the jets but lost the race with the sun have to wait till tomorrow it is NX kit. To me with no controller that much of a shot would either spin or wheelie just seems like to much for two wheels or one on the pavment:blush:
well i got the jet out for the NO2 side it was a 31 but droped the one for the fuel side and now have to pull the starter to get to the jet. since im not a motorcycle mechanic (yet) i will wait for my repair manual (that I just ordered) to come in
no worries sounds like it's set at 40hp,cause a 35n & 18f would be around 50hp.take it for a ride and have fun.If you have a trustworthy tuner nearby throw it on the dyno and do a few pulls
ok thanks for the info I will be installing a pc usb and was thinking their shifter kit as well. Whats the verdect on the dyno jet shifter? or would a muzzy digi-kill be better. I have a wrecked 02 busa with PC 3r but dont think it will work for the 2000 busa. (GoldenChild) is a 220 hp motor possible that is still streetable
