4000 rpm

Hello I have found out the easist way to launch is pull the choke, its only a fast idle, I have mind adjusted to about 4000
rpm, shallow entery on the last yellow, leave on the last green
wtfoook open slip alittle and hang on, shift at about 10,000, due to reaction, by the time you do shift youll be at about 11,000

i race the 1/8 track
my bike is all stock, and i ran a couple runs
one of my runs was at 6.65@113 mph
and on aother run i ran 7.54@113mph
so im guessing its all in how u ride

I need to try the track so I can see what your all talking about. I'm guessing a total rookie like my self, going to be interesting since my bike is not setup for the 1/4 but rather the twisties.

practice, practice, practice! get in plenty of seat time. Do not expect to be the fastest out there, at each run...pick out some part of your "technic" and work on it, once you are comfortable with that pick out something else and begin working on that....eventually you will be able to start putting them all together and start pulling of some good runs...which in turn will have you back at the track trying different things to try and better your times. Seat time is critical!
