5 1/2 Years And 4,500 Miles On Oil

Another oil thread, sorry!!

Got a little concerned about the oil being in my Busa for more than 5 years, trusting my gut but reading all the hogwash on the internet made me a bit uncomfortable. So we changed and had the old oil analysed.

All is perfect!!! Analysis below.

BTW, this is the first oil I have used where the Busa gearbox does not knock the beejebers out of the viscosity and the oil stayed 100% in spec. Mobil 1 and Shell Helix drop to a 10w30 or even below in less than a 1,000 miles.

Black stone is a good place . Had a few customers use them when worried

Thanks for the post. I have the exact same oil in and it is the smoothest shifting oil I have had. I'm approaching 4 years 4,000 miles. I will change going into the spring.

The base stock is more ester base so it does not shear as much.
