Who'd complain about that? I usually play ten bucks. Get five tickets and am at 5 outta a bazillion chance to win. Now with this large of a prize even split between many is still fine but I like our chances much better. Besides this is the kinda stuff you read about.

Road trip heck how about Flying first class......Joking aside this is a very serious question. If Blanca claims this under his own name there could be tax consequences that he may not want. He will be claiming say 270 million dollars and gifting to us our equal share. This could cause a gift tax to arise later in the future to his estate. You can only give 12,000 single or 24,000 married to any particular individual per year. I think we all should get our butts down there and claim this together. Well not down there to miami but up to Tallahassee. We need to give this some serious thought!!. Oh what a nice problem to have

There was a pool lottery won here in Wisconsin. We are all better off claiming individually than having Saiid claim it. There will be lawyers involved if we win, no worries.
But if we do win, Saiid, don't do anything weird and claim it, let us all figure it out.

I wrote a pm to blanca yesterday about this then decided to not send it.
We would all need to be there to claim it or we will pay a lot of taxes we don't need too. There would be intial lumpsum taxes, state and federal taxes after you get your amount, luxury taxes. You would also have gifting taxes if it was gifted to each person. I would think it would be awesome to show up at the lottery commission as a group and show the world how folks can come together.
Blanca, if you haven't gotten tickets yet, I would start today so you get a nice mix of numbers especially doing quick picks. Have fun.
