60-130 mph results of 2010 Busa

depends on what gear really. why, you trying to see if your cage will stack up?

That's only 1st-2nd gear (1st will top at 85mph) so maybe 3sec, 4 if it's already in 3rd gear. Modded bikes will be faster than that too.... Your M3 will get spanked....

Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R Performance Statistics Page 1

An updated page on the performance of the Suzuki Hayabusa - Still officially the fastest motorcycle in the world (production class) even if it has a limiter now. These performance specs for the Hayabusa here are mainly for '99 & '00 models however I will try to indicate where it applies to other year models. The engine itself has not changed dramatically over the years.

See the other pages for the new 2008 performance figures and stats.

I have split the general specifications details off to a new page since it is getting rather long. Specifications for the Hayabusa can be found on Page 2.

Note that the top speed limiter as integrated into '01 models onwards does not effect the performance of the bike in anyway. Also note that your bike will probably differ in the various performance measurements not all bikes are the same.

Note I wish to thank everyone who has sent in dyno charts whether used here or not for taking to the time to scan and send ! You have made the world a better place. THANK YOU. Note that I have moved most of the charts to a new page for space reasons !

Fuel consumption :

City 5.6 litres (Premium) per 100kms
Highway 5.1 litres (Premium) per 100kms
Highway 5.4 litres (Premium) @ 160kph per 100kms
City 6.2 litres (Standard) per 100kms
Race - ???
These readings where taken from the onboard fuel computer.
Best ever record to date is 5.0 lts per 100k's on 19/6/2000
Variable speed @ variable throttle but never full throttle
at stead 160kph using premium Unleaded 94+
Standard unleaded petrol
No Choke starts - this is the tropics !
Light throttle.
Fresh fuel.
Recently serviced.
Figures recorded by myself in 2000 dry 27-32 degrees centigrade - but humid conditions.
Normal cruising range about 350km-400km per tank, using top gear as much as possible.
* All measurements are litres consumed per 100kms.
1st Gear : 135 Kph
2nd Gear : 185 Kph
3rd Gear : 230 Kph
4th Gear : 275 Kph
5th Gear : 305 Kph
6th Gear :??? Kph
Performance :

These figures are as tested by various publications over the years.
Of course everyone knows the Suzuki claims 300kph plus or 200mph.
400m takes 10ish seconds
(All tests I've read are between 9.4 and 10.4 seconds)
Speed at 400m 235kph
(All test I've read are between 232 and 238km)
0-100 takes 3 seconds
(All tests I've read hover between 3 and 3.5 seconds)
Top speed : at least 300kph
(All test I've read hover between 291 and 317kph in varying conditions)

60 - 120km Hayabusa 4.9 secs
60 - 120km Blackbird 6.1 secs
60 - 120km GSX-R 6.8 secs
60 - 120km ZZ-R1100 7.2 secs
(Australian Performance Streetbike magazine)
(Buy the mag and read the article, its one of the better ones.)
0-200kph takes about 7.6 secs

Claimed power :
175bhp at 9800 rpm at the crank - 1999 stock version no mods.

Tests average :
157bhp at back wheel - 1999 stock version no mods.
There are now heaps of performance enhancements which show that with
appropriate mods 200 reliable bhp is although expensive relatively easy to
achieve.

Top Speed :
Claimed top speed is at least 200 MPH or about 321KPH for 1999 models.
Top speed is at least 189 MPH for late 2000 and 2001 models onwards.
Top Speed as measured by the Guinness Book of Records 2000 & 2004
edition is 317KPH

The Hayabusa has double the BHP and torque compared to the CBR600.
The CBR600 needs to rev to 10,000 rpm to generate the same power as the
Hayabusa at 5,500 RPM
The Hayabusa produces 20-25bhp more than the R1 at any given speed.

Information based on a large number or articles written here and overseas.
And Yes I'll be dyno testing my own bike within the year.
Due to the unavailability of a Dyno Machine where I live I am unable to dyno
my own machine.

The question is too vague....more info is required inorder to give you a specific answer. Are you asking about a top gear roll-on time from 60-130? That seems to be the standard 'fast car' VS Busa race....if you want to give it a shot..come see me!

HOOYAH!!!

I am asking about rolling from 60 to 130 in the fastest possible gear. Not the top gear.

I think I can shed some light to my Busa brethen...

The 60-130mph roll is the new standard which car guys on a lot of forums are using(mostly turbo cars). Its huge on 6speedonline where all the Porsche guys w mega mods like to compare w one another as to how fast their cars will go from a 60mph roll to 130&how many shifts are needed.

I noticed the thread starter is on this list as well "TwinTurboM3" lol,how interesting

here is the link:
6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list - 6speedonline.com Forums

I've had more than a few heated debates on that forum whenever a "bike kill" post comes up lol,in their eyes even a turbo busa stands no chance against a 1000hp Porsche 997tt. I stopped posting because it was just pointless

I don't think he was happy to find out his bimmer would likely get spanked

2.217sec... oh you mean a bone stock one? Would you feel better if i type 10.9sec? how about it depends on rider and conditions.

the first gopro video i recorded after i put a turbo on, the back wheel goes from 70 to 120mph in one second. no bull****. but then again, that's cuz it broke loose and spun to redline.

I'm thinking a stock one couldn't take more than 4.5 to 5 seconds. Basically just running from the 1-2 into 3rd at wot and you'd have it.
