7 dead at Temple near Milwaukee

I was truly sickened when I saw this. That little cabin in the woods and off the grid is looking better and better.

Hate is an epidemic in our society. I saw today that a mosque in Joplin was razed by fire for the 2nd time in a month. The people in Murfreesboro, TN protesting the building of a mosque because they say Islam isn't a religion. How many times is that mosque going to be vandalized? And the church in Missouri who didn't allow a black couple to have their wedding there because some congregants didn't want to set a precedent, because there had never in 150 year history of that congregation been a wedding for a black couple. Really? In 2012 there are still people who don't want to share their space with someone else because they're black!? I really just can't get my head around it.

And don't even get me started on Westboro Church praying for more dead American soldiers - yes, the ones who protect these crazies' right of free speech - because Americans tolerate homosexuals.

It is not difficult to get along with each other, cultures are different, so is relegion even though for all these reasons we can't all hang around and it's understood, and we might not be able to be buddy,buddy, but respect is essential! Basicaly, live and let live....

Kevin, make no mistake this is a tragic event.. Prayers for all involved and especially for our country... As we see these folks that we easily label as "crazies" killing others we know something put them over the edge. Out of a job, family issues, economy who knows but I do believe there will be more before it subsides. I think what we are seeing are those that are closest to the ledge going first.. We have seen an increase of fathers killing themselves then their children over the years too. I think that what we see is desperation and the lack of hope....

These people deserved the same peace that we all get as American's to worship who they want.

Another sad event on our country's decent into hell. Prayer for all involved, sad happenings to a lot of good people these days. The country needs to sit back, take a deep breath and reflect on where we are going.These Sikhs are Americans like all of us so please don't separate them out into a privileged class or a separate class, they were just going to do their worship like most of the country still does and this bastard with his sick mind made them victims. Watching the news yesterday lot of talking heads discussing how the Sikhs are being discriminated against since 9/11 because people think they were Muslims, I kept thinking how the hell does that make my fellow American Muslims feel and wondering if the talking heads were thinking that would make it better if they were Muslims. I for one an tired of the group identification racialists of any stripe in our country, you are either in with everyone else here or get the fk out I don't care where you are from or what racial group you belong to, respect others as you wish to be respected or just STFU and go back to where you or your frikken ancestors came from.

Oh and another thing our so-called leaders of all stripes stoke this hatred, its the one source of their power, they don't care if the genie gets out of the bottle as it only empowers them even more, you have racism and you have paternal racism both equally bad. Time for all to get pragmatic and recognize where the problems lie.

I agree with that move. My question is, did Obama order flags flown at half staff for those killed at the recent Colorado shooting? I can't seem to find any information on it.
