Since my last cigarette, and I'm starting to really see the benefits. Like making up the stairs and not having to rest at the top to catch my breath. Food and drink is starting to have more flavor. Especially wines. Overall I just feel better.
Great Job...Keep it up...I have a friend that smoked her whole life, and quit about a year ago...she is to the point where cigarette smoke makes her physically ill....I hope you get to that point.
You made it @ 7 weeks! So: Never-Ever light another one & you're good to go. Backslide, from confidence or whatever, & you're back in the grip. You do not need to repeat the last 7 weeks over again! Congrats
Thanks folks. After over 20 years I really didn't think it was possible. I had tried before but I don't think I was serious about it.
I don't see me backsliding I went an entire night of drinking and poker and never once got the urge. But I'm not so naive to think it can't happen so I will stay on the meds for another month or so.
