9.34 in the ¼ and it’s not a busa

i agree with the rider is everything issue but i consistantly ride with an 03 954 and he stays close to me too. maybe hes a good rider but from a roll in any gear if we both hitit right i dont really get away from him until after 150 or so. point is, the newer bikes are even better and to compare what you see on the street as far as who pulls who is not worth the arguement cause power, weight, rider, road, and gearing among a host of other things can cause a win or a loss. i believe the best part about the busa is this- i own what is regarded as the fastest production vehicle of all time that has 5 year old technology and warants more respect than 90% of the vehicles on the road and gets it. i could buy a 600 and build it to be faster than a busa and i could build a busa that i couldnt hold on to! the bottom line is this, everyone gets all heated on the whos faster debate but for me were all on bikes and as long as were alive throw down the 2 fingers, have fun, and hang out. the cops and tv stations give us enough problems to bitch about.

Definately a pro. Check out how consistant his times were.

Also, there feeding that bike a steady diet of clutch plates.

Wow a lively debate!! I think the point is that all bikes are tools. You pick the best tool for the job. I, for instance, road race and for all my love of the busa it wasn't going to happen on that bike. So I run with the 600's.

Like what was said earlier just enjoy YOUR ride! See you all at the track!!

DIdnt look at the vid, but I think it is probably Norman JAckson.  ANd he can launch like that on any bike.  I attended Jason Millers drag racing school last year when I still had my 94 gsxr 1100. It was stock, except for 4 inch stretch and slammed.  I could only get it to 11.7.  HIs first and only pass on MY bike was a 10.3!  He is a beast on any bike.  He used to run the 12 but now the ten is out.  Thats his new thing!! Very cool guy as well, but remember he could hand a lot of peoloe their ass on a 750 or a 9.  BUt thats what he gets PAID to do.

Your right. At the end of the video it actaully says Norman Jackson. Thanks for the insight, I had never heard of him.

The guys name is Norman Jackson...He's actually a friend of mine...He rides and races in the Washington, D.C. area. His home track is Maryland International Raceway (Budds Creek) and he's been at this for a long time...He was actually a factory sponsored Kawasaki drag racer up until recently.

Norman Jackson is an absolute beast on a bike, but he's also a really nice guy.

That said...Not too many people are gonna be able to run those numbers with that bike...He's got skills by the pound when it comes to riding and racing a motorcycle.

He's got a ZX-12R that's nothing to fool around with either.

He doesn't really ride on the street much anymore. Unless he needs to make a few bucks. He's a very unassuming looking guy so if you're not careful you could step into a hornets nest and he will sting you bad.

He's what we affectionatly call a "ringer".
