99 busa overheating and it lacks power

Hello all, I need some help from more experienced owners with this bike.
I just bought a brand new ( for me ) second hand 99 busa with 25000 km on board.
The main concern is the fact it lacks power it seems to go well @ 2500-4000 rpm if only a little throttle is applied but if I twist the throttle it makes a strange noise like not all the cylinders are working and it does not deliver, I was convinced by this when a friend of mine that bought my old bike, a 93 Suzuki RF600 r simply shames me on the road.
Then I decided to do a speed test:
in 2nd i was able to fully open the throttle and not much happens.
then up to 3rd-4th -5th where it would not rev any more and in sixth with full throttle open it will slowdown to around 180.
Another issue is that it starts kind of hard when is cold, I believe that only 2 at best 3 cylinders are starting then after 1-2 min it seems to smooth out.
Also connected to all of the above seems to be the fact that is overheating, I drained the old cooling fluid yesterday, it was simply muddy, cleaned the cooling system with water and now for a few days or until I figure it out I am running on water I thing there is no point in putting in the engine coolant if it figures out I have to open the engine.
So any advice on how to approach the issue is appreciated

pull plugs and do a compression test.. Look at the plugs are they carbon fouled a black color are They more of a white color Caused by detnation etc.. Please do the compression test first this is important and can tell us if there is a deeper problem ..

Head gasket , Pistons or rings .. Do the test befor we speculate. Or it could be something as simple as syncing throttle bodies or  fuel injection cleaning but like i said lets not speculate do the compression test first.. How is your oil . .Check level .. Check coolant. Make sure there is no intermix. Oil in coolant or coolant in oil.

Ps- Muddy coolant oil in it??? That would be signs of head gasket failure and also be reason for overheating.

the coolant I drained out yesterday did not seem to have oil in it it simply looked old and I filled the cooling system and drained it for 4 times before I got satisfied that what was coming out was clean water. I put the water in 50 km ago and in the plastic bottle seemed ok and clean.

The oil is new, motul 10w40 7100 it has 100 km as the oil filter, the dealer changed it before giving me the bike on Friday , I had not the chance to look at the oil he drained out.

I will check the spark- plugs tomorrow and also the coolant.
For the compression test I will have to go back to the dealer or another shop to do it.

I'll keep you posted on the progress, 10 for the help so far.

u can buy a cheap compresison gauge at a store and test it yourself..
After a careful consideration and the lack of time and a garage, I will use the dealer 1 year warranty on the second hand bikes, like this and I will let them sort it out. Anyway I will post here what was the problem and how it was fixed it it will be fixed.

As I decided I took the bike back to the dealer:.

Day one:

His mechanics started by cleaning the fuel lines checking all the filters and replacing the gas filter. Then they attended to the throttle sensor alignment and the the adjustment of the throttle bodies. Then one of them took it for a test ride by the time I called him to ask about the progress.
When he returned the answer was he reached about 170 kph 105-110 mph at best if the wind was from behind.
By this time I was being disappointed.

Day two:
The mechanics got their hands on a set of replacement injectors from another dealer in town that had two bussas for sale and 2-3 busa engines. I doubt that the injectors were new but they are in good condition. I called the dealer in the evening to check on the progress and the result can be guest in his voice, the bike sounded differently like a injection Suzuki engine should sound round an smooth more ore less.

Day three:
They got around to changing they decided to change the spark plugs because the bike started kind of hard and it was not pooling smooth bellow 2500 3000 rpm. They put in some classical NGK CR9e ( witch ,if I am not mistaking are the same as the stock ones ). This being done, they tooke it for a ride on the hyway for about 60 Km ( 38 miles ) They said the bike went easily to 250 kph (155 mph ) but the rider /mechanic was more of an enduro fan and he got scared. By then the dealer called me and invited me to pick up the bike for the second time.

Day four:
I only rode it in the city traffic but I must confess is scary. I've never ridden a bike with so much torque at so low rpm and I rode some Suzuki TL1000r vtwin a K5 GIXER 1000, Duke's, Honda VFR and VTR but this is way above all of those in therm of acceleration it seems to do it so easy like it is not even trying. I can't wait until Sunday to take it out on the highway for my self to see what it can do, until then I'll clean the chain and lube it check the tires and fill her up.

P.S. Thxll all , Is the a thread on fuel consumption I want to get a better idea of what is normal and what is not regarding this matter.

no thanks for my remove plugs and check them!!! lol.. YOUR WELCOME! lol.. Glad your bike is doing well now.
