I think the Mastiffs are pretty good house dogs, but like you said, only so long as you have enough house.  I don't think they would be to good for the hardwood floors though... But I do tend to like real dogs... The little ankle biters just tend to piss me off...Then they start shaking and yap-yapping and I just want to stomp them to put them out of their misery...Though I really like Pugs...My Grandparents always had pugs.  

Around our house, we call those little ankle-biting dogs "Scooby Snacks"!

...Though I really like Pugs...My Grandparents always had pugs.  

Pugs can be deadly to other dogs , they can quite easily kill other larger more ferrocious dogs . They can take out a Pittbull, a Rottweiller , a Dane without even doin' much .
They can even lay waste to a BullMastiff .
