Thanks guys, lots of hard work but all worth it. Yes, there's a big bullseye on my back and several guys that can are out to get me this year. I'm sure the dedicated Maxton people would be trying to bring the record back to their track. Texas has the fastest ever car down the track at 324 (jet car) and now the bike. It ought to be an exciting year.

Tom you are holding what appears to be some Benjamin's in the photo. What was the payout for breaking a record? Or was it for having the fastest vehicle at the event?

He won the shootout turbo class and those would be his winnings. The shoot out is something Tom sets up for all the bike guys who wish to enter. The classes are turbo, nitrous, and all motor. You are not allowed to run more than one class. Entry fee is 100 bucks.
