About to burn my bike down because of the core moto lines. Help.

I cannot for the life of me get any pressure in either the clutch or the brake line. Both are brand new install and direct from MC to location. (No abs pump only running one rotor).

I’ve tried normal methods.

I’ve tried vacuum hand pump and showed pulling vac the entire time.

Overnight gravity bleed

I’m going to kick this thing off the stands and walk away.

The only thing I can think of, and this happened to me with my Z06 once too, is the banjo holes aren’t big enough aftermarket vs stock? I’m kinda grasping at straws with that too tho…. Anyone got any other ideas?

just don’t burn the bike down or kick it off stand. nothing wrong with making mistakes. when modifying anything machine you are bound to run into mistakes or issues, part of fun. try swapping the banjo bolts. make sure u torque it down. did u get the updated master cylinder? u can use a oil dye kit to leaks if you aren’t selling any with your eyes. use the washers that come with the kit. sometimes companies use a different length bolt and will use different thickness washers.

You should be able to use the old bolts to test.
I think you're sucking air in.
I just put on coremotos as well but I also did brembo master cylinder - though that doesn't help you, the part that helps, is the bolt that comes with the brembo system has a larger hole than coremoto.

I would run a line from the master cylinder outlet directly back to the reservoir, with a full reservoir and the line below the fluid level cycle the handle to bleed any air out. I'd go slow to prevent brake fluid everywhere.

Would it maybe be a better idea to run a tube from the caliper bleeder back to the reservoir?
This would push fluid through the entire loop?

Normally I like to bench bleed master cylinders first just to know they are in working order. You could run a line from the caliper to a jar fill with brake fluid to keep air from being sucked back in the system. I find it odd that 2 master cylinders are doing the same thing ?

You have tried everything I would have tried. The only time I've had issues with the front's and core moto lines it was related to the master cylinder. Once I had a faulty rebuild kit and another time the master cylinder had it's own bleed valve and you should start bleeding there first.

Haha, welcome to the the world of bleeding, most tips are allready here, not much i can ad, but as a expierenced do it yourselfer.....this job is the only job that have almost turned into kicking a bike or car.....tip one,,,,patience, that new banjo should also work but its not helping, tip 2, go the old fashion way, on a bike you can do it alone, but a extra hand can always help....pump the lever slow, open the banjo (conected to a hose and inside a botlle with some fluid to not draw in air....so you need to have the drain line filled up. and chance pumps, from entire compression of the lever to halve and return. its the trick of clossing and releasing the lever and banjo in the correct way, and dont go to fast, so keep the lever pressed for a few seconds, before closing the banjo. Once it took me 5 hours the bleed a 70cm clutch line, so you can immagine the frustration. I ended up fastening the clutch lever with some cable not all the way compressed, and just tapping the line with a small wrench....after a while i finaly saw the bloody string of bublles into the reservoir.....and trust me, i own a good brake bleeder, and i know how to do it, but still i run into bikes and cars that just doesnt want to work with me.....so the only best tip i can give you....be patience, you will get there.........why do you really think they called it bleeding.....

My last few times, I gave up and dropped it off at the race shop. I got better things to do than phuk around for a day bleeding brakes and going through bottles of fluid. Supply the fluid, drop them some coin for the job, ride it home with perfect brakes.

I put fresh washers on the stock banjos and the clutch pulled 1/3 of the reservoir down with two cracks of the bleeder.

The brake is still fighting me a little. I have fluid moving in the system, but it doesn’t feel right yet. Have the levers zip tied to the bars for the night and will try again in the morning. I have a reverse bleed system coming from Amazon tomorrow so I may hit the front caliper with that and see if that helps.

So.

Go to the garage tonight. Brake lever has been zip tied to the bar 20+ hours. Crack the bleeder. Nothing. Pump the lever. Nothing. Use a few choice words. Go inside and watch the MGP/F1 practices from today. Walk back out to the garage. Walk to my shelf to get my brembo master. Decide to try one last time. 3rd pull of the lever system goes full pressure. Crack the MC bleeder and have fluid everywhere. Pump the lever crack the brake bleeder fluid everywhere. Brakes are bled. Brake clean all over the caliper and used it to wipe down my master but idc.

Brakes are bled.

Tomorrow I can ride.

Finally.

Man I really just fuckin wish I could leave things stock sometime (my search bar has turbo parts open in multiple windows right now. Someone remind me of this post in 3 months when I have similar problems of Inconvenience)
