Most surfers dont like to talk about or think about sharks & attacks, kinda like a jinx... Do ya think we should have a crash forum? You know to share what happened...condolences... some sites actually have a RIP section yeeeeeow! Most crashes and the like have been posted in general anyway. But i dont look at those gore shots someone posted a while back. The thing I like about it is maybe by sharing we can help others avoid the same fate. Whats do u think?

I like the idea... may 'shock' us back to reality every now and then.. you know, keep us grounded, so to speak.

If we do this hopefully atleast one will get through to someone and give them the insight they need to stay within their boundries. Especially for those who are new to the busa, might be a good idea for them to realize just what they can get themselves into .

Who am I to stand in the way of Democracy, I'll have it done in no time

I would like to offer a suggestion for what it is worth.

I agree a crash forum can be a good idea, and a useful tool.. it can help people realize it just doesn’t happen to the other person.

It can make people think about certain circumstances to watch out for.

But I don’t think gore shots are required or necessary (just my two cents).

I mean if we don’t establish some kind of guidelines for the forum we might end up seeing some really bad stuff.. not only bad for young people to see, but to be honest.. there is just some stuff no one should see..

When I was younger and a new rider there was a guy in my home town that took off from a light and nailed it, road a wheeling across the intersection, veered to the right, sideswiped a telephone pole and tore his right leg off at the groin.

Bled out in about 30 seconds..

That might be why I don’t try to ride wheelies, don’t know. But every time I think of it I kind of cringe.

But an image like that if there was a picture, I think could almost give people nightmares and could make some people so paranoid not to want to ride..

Anyway, like I said.. just my two cents.. I think it is a good idea, but should have strict guidance, disclaimers and all the regulars on the board kind of be proactive in policing anything that might not be good…

I would guess that Cap's and our standard policies would continue to apply. We get plenty of crash postings right now. This would just be an organizational feature, not one that should cause more accidents, or draw more gore. I would hope that we would stick with what we are doing now, but just post the crash reports where they belong. That would make them a lot easier to avoid if people don't like reading that stuff.

I wouldn't mind having things posted about those that have crashed and are still around to tell us about it...there have been quite a few that have crashed lately, and with the posts scattered throughout the forums, it's easy to miss one or two...

If they're all posted in a single forum, we'll all be able to keep track of who's down, who's on the mend, who might need some assistance...hopefully that's all we'll be seeing! Nothing worse, okay?! So, be careful!!!

Not something I like to think about but, we might learn from others
