Is anyone using this and what are the findings? I know it is not needed, but am intersted to hear if anyone is using it and their impressions.

Motty AFR Tuner

I tried to find out if the module will be a direct controller of the injectors, or a bypass only controller. You may want to contact the manufacturer to make sure it will control eight injectors if it is a direct control setup.

It looks like a well thought out tuner, but there are other proven units on the market. I don't remember the brand, but there is a unit out there that also includes an AFR gauge that you can add to your instrument panel. That's a very cool feature to be able to monitor your AFR on the fly.

I'm currently running a PCIII, which is mapped for R-77 plus Pipercross, but also use the stock lambda sensor and ECU fuel control. This means the bike runs with good mileage for cruising and delivers when it should at higher loads (at least in theory) when the PCIII comes in control.

I have one MOTTY AFR Tuner on my B-King 1507 and its far superior to ANY other controller on the marked. The Bazazz is a nice unit also but nowhere near as advanced as Motty AFR Tuner.

YES - I am running this on my K8 2008 Hayabusa - bloody fantastic way superior than anything else including the Bazza - this is the ONLY TRUE closed loop system BUT and a big BUT - NOTE::::: It is not plug and play so if you are scared of wires and solderering and cutting into your nice new K8 loom then you better look else where - if you have some balls and want the best self tuning yes folks SELF TUNING !!!! unit then this is the real deal - I had some recent problems with the bike cutting out but after talking to Tamas (guy who writes the software) he sent me a new debuggin version and new settings and problem gone. This system has the best; THE BEST support of any product I have bought EVER - support always answers emails within a few hours always has great input and suggestions and answers - I was the first K8 Busa he had sold to (YEP THE FIRST) so was the testing bike and all I can say its been a great experiance - he had sold some to BKings so I wasnt worried and all worked out well - it is a fair amount of work to get it installed but the results are stunnig and the bike is soooooo smooth!

No association - have been saying the same rant for the last 6 months but everyone is stuck on outdated PCIII's - yes been there and done that so yes I can compare! Worth every cent - no its NOT plug and play, no its not a PC no its not a Bazzaz YES it works!

Yes controls all 8 injectors - wired in conjuction with the stock ECU and yes you will have to get a wide band lanbda welded into your pretty exhaust system - real men only use this baby!

I may be wrong, but it looks as the unit controls 4 injectors only. The screen dump is from the AFR-manual.

I just Emailed them and asked about it working with Nitrous, turbos and larger injectors. I will report back with the info unless someone here has the answer. Looks like a wish come true.:beerchug:

does it do any good on a pretty much unmodified bike? or is it more for the built bikes. i just have slip-ons and a tre.

Wow! Got my answer all ready. Works on naturally aspirated only. I just asked if it will work with S2000 injectors. Waitting for reply.

It would work on a stock bike, but would be quite a few $$ over the results you would see out it.

Got my reply on the use of larger injectors and he said that it would adapt to the S2000 injectors. So I am thinking that you could get away with a 50 or maybe 60 dry shot with the MPS instant rich module. Any in put guys?

It sounds interesting . Question: can the engine take a 50 to 60 shot without retarding the ingnition to prevent pinging? Perhaps the knock sensor will handle this in case the burn rate is too fast, it will be faster with nitrous to some degree.
