Aftermarket Gauges

I installed a set of the reverseble SRP illumniglo gauges on my BUS. I took my time with the install but ended up with my fuel and temp needles inoperable. They appear to be sticking due to the holes being to small on the illumniglo gauges. Does anyone have any idea of how to fix this problem without destroying the gauges?
