It I understand it is right then changing the airfilter isnt doing any good if you arent cutting the flapper valve at the same time. Why increase the flow of the filter if it is the square section where the flapper valve is mounted who is the biggest restriction to airflow ?
I saw one guy reported a 1-2 hp gain when installing the airfilter alone...I am curious what will happen if you change the airfilter AFTER you have removed the flapper valve......anyone ?
By the way , I am taking my second busa to the dragstrip this weekend for the first time. All stock. and after a few runs Ill remove the flappervalve and airfilter. I hope Ill see some improvements..
And then me and Thomas ( the swedish guy who have done ao much on his Busa ) are going out for a beer or two......And lie our asses off. heheh
