Airhorn?

You can get the Wolo at Harbor Freight Tools. You don't have to extend the wiring harness.

(ranman @ Jan. 13 2007,18:07) this one can be mounted with the stock horn bracket.  you just have to bend it some to clear the rad.  will not work with a lowered bike. have to extend the wires. thats it
its loud

This is what I have, it sounds nice, and was easily mounted. I put it in the left ram air tube, since I'm running a turbo that made the ram air useless. but it will mount in the stock location.

Remove the factory horn and factory bracket! Relocate factory holes in bracket to give best clearance and slightly bend factory bracket also for best clearance.. Take factory wiring harness and cut the factory connector into to seperate halves; one with the positive wire and the other with the negative! You can do this with a pair of scissors... Be careful not to cut the wire assy. just the connector so its in two seperate pieces. When you look at it you'll understand! Now bolt it all back up with the new Wolo horn you might have to re-route some of the wiring as to get the extra slack you'll need but shouldn't be hard to do. Make sure your away from the radiator and when the bike compresses the front wheel it doesn't contact your new horn........ WARNING: This horn will wake the dead so try not to stand in front of it the first time you use it! Loud horns have been saving lives for many years. One of my first mods....

Bug, did you need to install a new relay or is the stock unit capable?

I have the same horn as "da Bug". It came with a relay but I didn't install it. Sonny didn't either. I have had mine about 9 months. No probs on the stock harness at all. I also have dual hids, bluegauges and a GiPro wired in.
