Akrapovic Dyno Sheet

isnt the yosh pipe just stock replacement pipes? thats what i have heard i also heard that everyone that has a yosh pipe just gets about 4-5 hp thats a great system. has any pipe made more hp than the micron yet. 16 hp with a commander thats impresive.

It seemed to me that the base run was very low compared to other dyno runs on a stock busa, I mean 153 seems to be a bit on the weak side. The 162 seems about right, but there are some stock bikes very close to this. A lot money for a few horses.

The chart is from the Akrapovic factory, European Hayabusa's are running a cat.

This may explain sone of the impressive numbers from Akrapovic. According to DynoJet the Akrapovic pipes(full line) overall produce some of the most impressive figures.

Other pipe manufacturers have said that Akrapovic starts with low(stock) numbers to generate big gains.

We will all have and wait to see. But keep in mind differant dyno's produce differant numbers. Comparisons should be generated by the same bike on the same dyno, and then they could be a bit more honestly compared.

Also one of the other reasons for a full system: WEIGHT LOSS, the stock setup is heavy.

i watchd a couple of busa's racing in chicago this weekend and the yosh pipes sounds shitty. he was also very pround of his 7 hp and he didnt want to tell me how much this "great" pipe cost. what does akrapovic claim so far? i am really looking foward to buying one of these bikes to put a really good exhaust on it. so far all i have seen is a couple of slow ones and not alot of hp from any pipes except micron. is that the only one that makes any hp? besides micron? (16-17) with power commander!!!!

kawabuser i dont have one yet i am still waiting to find out if someone can work out all the bugs in this bike yet. i usually dont buy the first year proudction of anything. thats is why i am findind out about the exhaust systems and what is made availble for it. i would really like to find the best fitting parts and what is going to make hp thats all. and i would like a zx12 but its going to be based off the zx9 and i am tall so i wont fit on it.(knees and elbows). but i just dont know what i am going to but yet. and i also only have one cushion on my couch ha ha ha

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
First, there is not a single thing wrong with the Hayabusa.
Second, my busa has had no defects in 4000 miles of teletransportation.
Third, Any mod that I have done (from info from this site) just makes the thing go faster.

Lastly, to date nothing has passed me that is street legal and normally asparated and NO BIKE has gone faster in, "drive it to the race track, race it all day and drive home"

Of the 70 bikes that I have owned by far this is my favorite and I am proud to own one. If I run into a Suzuki "higher up" at a bike show, I am going to thank him/her for having the courage to produce a bike like this.
At the current rate that busa's are dropping their ET's; By the time the Almightly ZX-12 (with the Allison V-12 in it) shows up, we'll still kick its ass.

Busa Killer, you have seen a slow busa. Hmmmmmm...... A slow busa you say Hmmmmmm...... You must have been on your ZX12!

A slow Hayabusa is what happens when they get stuck in the couch seat cushions.

kawabuser please send me a graph also
thanx
