I purchased my dream about 7 months ago. Got to ride her for about 1 month before Old Man Winter decided to show up. I've been adding chrome to the jewel for the past 2 months. Chrome parts being KICKSTAND, BAR CAPS, GRAB BAR, FLUID CAPS, PEGS, with GRILL SCREENS AWAITING MY LAZY CAN TO INSTALL.(Thanks to BALLZ Motorsports) I've heard the Busa is 1 of the top bikes stolen, and I do NOT want my DREAM to come up missing. Should I install an alarm? , or remove the chrome so no reason to steal bike? If installing the alarm, what is the best and easiest alarm to install???

pics of bike will soon be coming, wanted to dress her up first.

Sure, I can do a search and get statistics from some advertisers, but I have found in my experiences that (Busa owners) are the most reliable source to inform me of whether or not i should get an alarm or just leave the chrome at home.

Actually meant a search of this site. Don't mean to sound offensive, but this along with undertails, tires and windscreens are asked about at least once a week. There are a lot of impressions, reviews, pictures and just general info already here on the board.

Scorpio alarm, best in my opinion. And it doesn't matter chrome or not, they still want it.

I just installed a gorilla alarm with the 2-way pager paid 139.00 off of a e-bay store great unit for the money easy install has a motion, ele, and if you stand it up off kick stand goes off

The Scorpio has a perimeter sensor, it goes off before you get close enough to it to stand it up. Don't want my bike dropped when the alarm goes off, and they take off running.
