The tw-400 from has most of the same features as the scorpion at a fraction of the cost. I called them and asked the reason for the lower cost. He said they don't spend all the money on advertising that Scorpion does. They have an unconditional 30 day 100% money back guarantee.
I'm not pushing this product, just giving you an alternative spending the $500 plus. I'm not a rich guy either. This alarm is on my list of mods tho.

Scorpions are the best just like Nike Clothing and Ipods are the best. It's a name brand loyalty/lemming thing.

Someone emailed me a while back and said it no longer has the voice warning. You're not missing anything without it as the siren still chirps when anyone gets near the bike. I unplugged the speaker harness on mine as the ladies voice isn't very threatening.

I only paid like $ 300 for my Scorpion.
+1, i paid 300. for my scorpion. comes with a pager if bike is triggered, and has a perimeter sensor.

I paid $95 with shipping to PR and for the price it doesn't look bad, but i checked some feedback and every people got it they told that is really good so , i just bought mine so i cant really say nothing about yet. here is link
