Alienhead exhaust

I can watch youtube videos of this all day but im not really gonna get the idea of how loud the alienhead full exhaust is. I am not so much concerned with my hearing but the hearing of cops and other authority figures. So in your own opinion how loud is it to you or have you had run ins with the law

I think it depends on how and where you are riding... Just for cruising around town, it aint all that loud. Not as loud as most Harleys... If you are getting on it, it gets loud, though. However, you shouldnt really be in town, anyways, if you are really getting on it...

If you are worried about noise violation, I wouldnt worry about it, unless the cops in your area are real strict about that sort of thing. If you are worried about drawin attention when you dont want it, yeah it may happen.

Good to hear, I got stationed in england and hear some crazy loud harleys around here both brits and americans and it really makes me wonder how they get past the cops.

The Brocks website will give you the db. I'll go check for you. My short meg is listed at 109. I think the two are similar in sound. Mines not that bad until you get on it and yes it gets attention. BRB

Like said above, cruising its not bad at all, open it up and yes they will hear you coming.
Above 7,000 rpms is when it starts to sing.

i have one and my brother in law does on his 07 1000 and my busa is louder then his olny complaint i have is that it sounds like it's right behind your right ear. my buddy has a full length ack. ti system and quiter and looks beautiful. if i would have bought the exhaust (bought bike used) i would have bought that one....FYI bikes made exact same power on dyno his is an 09 mine is 08 so no difference.
