Dropped my First Bike at the Stop Light 1/2 Mile from the Dealership NEW !!!  

Left the shop with my '08 and went to show a friend my new bike. He sits on the bike and then forgets to put the kickstand down when he goes to get off. Down she went with about 15 miles on her.

That drop cost almost $1000 to fix (scratched mirror, side fairing, stator cover and broken peg feeler). My friend is still paying me $200 a month to fix the damage. On another note I dropped my '04 Busa 2 times in the house getting her off the bike stand. I now will only use a sport-chock to hold my bike. I think it's bound to happen to everybody sooner or later.

Thanks for all the support! I got some ASV C/5 Series levers (the "shorties"). They are sweet! Only thing left is to get a stator cover. I got pretty lucky that the fairing wasn't scratched!

Dropped my 08 the first day in the father in laws driveway, slipped my foot on loose stones as I was pushing her back, boom down she went, scratched the mirror and the very bottom of the right hand side fairing, nothing a bit of touch up paint didnt fix, but its always a blow to the pride.

Cool deal. I went up Saturday and the roads were in really good shape. If the weather is nice again this coming weekend I'll probably go back up! I'll hit ya up on a PM when it's closer to go time.

ouch i feel your pain i droped my 07 in oct last year and i scratched my stater kinda bad and the fairings have a few straches and my girlfriend could figure why i was tearing up and decided to go destroy my trash cans
