Annoying when strangers touch your parked busa?

I have kids and as a father would never ever let my kids touch or even think about sitting on someone elses stuff. man thats just not right .. If i come out of a store or anywhere else and someone else is sitting on my stuff rude or not bet theywont ever do it on mine again wheni get done tongue lashing them ..They are not the ones making the payment ..Or replacing stuff if it falls over .Sorry control your kids or i will..Thats the problem now days the kids run the parents..Back in the day My mom would not think twice about knocking the shide out of me in front of god and country now days you go to jail for tapping you kid on the arse ,..

Rude or not I would have to say something to them. I don't mind people stopping to look at my bike but, they better keep there grubby little fingers of my girl or I will get in their shid. I didn't pay $10,000 dollars for some dipstick to screw it up.

Last years the wife and were at a local swimming park, kept hearing the Scorpio prox going off. Finally go over to a place where I could see the bike and here are 3 kids, maybe 6 being the oldest walking around the bike and laughing they're arses off everytime it chirped at them. Now this was in the middle of the parking lot, not a parent in sight anywhere. I watched for a bit, they never touched it and would back away as soon as it chirped so they never sent it off into a full alarm, but had they touched it, or climbed on it..............Yeah, they would have known I was pissed.

+100 on the alarm.. I have to admit, that I have pulled the panic trick myself. Seeing a grown man jump three feet is comical. I had a guy come over to my bike as I was wlking towards it, I saw him come from his hummer.... he was putting his hands all over the grips and the seat, then he sat on Bessie. I walked over to his Hummer and grabbed the door handle to see if his alarm was on, nope, the door opened right up, so I climbed inside....
He got the point.

No one touches "My Baby" unless I permit them to. Anyone I don't know walks up and is even looking at her, I am out of the establishment and over there to find out what they want...
Not rude in my opinion, being protective...

People, it's only a fugin bike - no reason to go postal on some little kids. If a kid touches my bike, obviously they are smitten with it, and I dont mind taking a minute to show em the bike and making a good impression on a possible future rider. Sure, let mom or dad know the thing aint cheap, but do it in a way that doesnt esculate a situation.

Now, if they cause damage to the bike, well than I guess I deal with the parrents on that issue. If mom & dad are tards, and damage is done than I make a call to 911 or get a DL and report to insurance. No sense in getting all worked up on material things - life is too short.

Now, if my fiance's kids run up to a bike and like the 4 year old boy always says "Bike-A-Busa" with a big smile on his face (because this kid is just completley in Aww of any bike that looks like my Busa), and some @ss munch decides to threaten the kid or me, I take that as fear for my kid's safety and mine and have no problem resorting to a quick verbal lashing about using some sort of threatening tone in front of the kids. And if dude wants to pull Mr. Tuff guy, red faced and fist's a flying sorta thing, I take no issue with doing what needs to be done if I have no other option. Just remeber a motorcycle doesnt make you a bad @ss and people get real defensive around their kids, & you might find yourself doing a faceplant in the parking lot.

Just remember, kids are frickin kids. Yah, kids do stupid stuff....thats why they are kids. Hate to see what some of you would do if a special-ed person got on your bike and made vroom-vroom noises...ya gonna kick the tard's @ss...please. I dont care if my comments arnt "PC", it only a bike.

Don't get me wrong... I love children. But had that been me, I'd have had that kid by his neck. I then would have turned to the parents and asked them why the he!! they'd let thier child climb on someones vehicle...........people like that just piss me off.

I'll guarantee you, had I done that when a child....my dad would have kicked my azz!! and rightfully so.

No, you don't touch my ride, let alone climb on it. Unless you've got permission.

Yah, parrenting is very different today than when I was raised in the early 70's. My parrents were strict with me and, I knew better than to touch other people's stuff - I got plenty of whoopin's that would be considered sever child abuse today.

However it is not my job to raise someone else's kids, and the way society is today, you will find yourself in court real quick if you verbally threaten or physically assault another person's kid. Anyhow, I know this is a touchy subject...and I will most likely get flamed for my comments, but just adding my $.02

right after i bought mine me and my g/f where at toco bell and there was a family just leaving and i watched the boy go up to it and start to touch it and his dad snatched him up and the dad was pissed cause then i got up and went outside. the kid looks at me he was about 9 or 10 and said nice busa. i was like how the hell does he know that it is a busa his dad looks at me and says he knows more bout the damn jap bikes then anyone i know. so i look back at the guy who is wearing a harley shirt and said do you mind if he sits on it the kid then said please dad come on so he says are you sure i was like it is ok so i tell the kid to be careful and i put him on it and if you guys could have seen this kids face. it is the same feeling that you get when you are waiting on parts and the ups guy stops in front of your house. so the dad thanked me i said no thank you cause not all parents yell at their kids not to touch someone else bike.

I will have to say if it was me rude or not I would walk out and find their parents and politely ask them not to touch my bike. I mean its just plain and simple if it isn't your property you have no business placing your hands on it PERIOD! I used to get so pissed about that but now I have my lovely scorpio alarm so I just set the perimeter sensor and let it warn people for me. And if they don't heed the warning then it just pages me and lets me know I need to handle it. lol
YEA !!!!!!!1   With my 9millie Smittie

Good on you for doing what you did. Very cool bro, very cool - and Im guessing you made a bigger impression on that kid than you can ever realize...I bet he takes that experience with him to the grave some 80+ years from now

I only get pissed when it is a teenager... Small kids don't bother me as much... I worry more for their safety around the bike... Teenagers on the other hand deserve a definite reaming if they touch or get on with out asking... I always park where I can view the bike even if I'm just running in to a store... Any adult that thinks it is acceptable to touch or otherwise handle someone elses property without permission is obviously stupid...

What if I think your wife is hot and fast... I'm pretty sure your gonna take issue if try and take her for a ride:p I crack myself up.:D

Bike and kids are a lot alike
They both need to be watched over and protected at all times.
Bikes, just cost a hell of a lot less.
