Another 01 with staring troubles

The stator I did this morning...just went for quick ride about an hr ago...perfect ride... I changed the cover last season so I was familiar with that...an a new gasket.. blocks offs look simple but I keep hear about a pair valve so that's the info I'm looking for not really an good vids so far...

I do not . Gen 1 is different than gen 2 as the first gen has the four plates above the header exhaust ports . Gen 2 just has the to covers on the valve cover . I've sealed my cover with hand made aluminum dowel pins inserted into the magnesium cover.
