The busa is an awsome ride and even now, everytime I throw a leg over her I get just as fired up as I did the very day I brought her home......sounds like your have'in a blast......CBX uh, big ol 6 cyclinder monster...it's a long story but I actually stumbled onto a CBX at work one day not long ago...forgot just how massive a bike they were. Turned out this dude who owned it was restoring it at work and lock it up there in his office...he finally finished it cause one day I saw it going out the front gate at work

Well damn. Headed out this morning at 10 am with my Son on his bike. a mile and a half from the house I was behind a 30' flatbed pulled by a dodge dually..as we approach the Red light that was Green he swerved over into what I thought was a left turn lane. so I proceeded to go thru the green light. all of a sudden while still rolling he made a Quick right turn, I had a sec to react. too late as I hit his passenger door at 20 miles per hour. I flew over the bars as My son watched in disbelief. as the bike hit the pavement and I landed about 10 feet away. I had on my gloves denim Shirt and my Full Face Helmet that I always hated to Wear. my shoulder slammed into the mirror brace which was solid. and slammed me to the pavemet. I did sit up in shock and removed the helmet. many people gathered while waiting for the ambulance. There was oil pouring from the Oil cooler the lower skin was wasted, the left foot peg was gone. The front brakes were clamped tight. Wow so Sad.. I took it to the Shop and they are charging me $234. to check out the damage by removing all the front end.. I am a big mass of Pain even though nothing is broken thank goodness..Some one wanted Pics maybe the insurance adjuster will let me have a copy.. Both cans are wasted. Ok I am drugged here so I shall go to bed.. But HAY I still Love my BUSA She will be back.
The Fault went 100% to the Truck Driver...

Damage to the Busa is extimated at $4000. don't look like it from here but I guess so.. The Forks are pushed back about 4" the turnsignal is broken out of the fairing, with a big crack in the fairing. The Oil cooler is broken and the Radiator is bent into a curve. I feel that it could be fixed but, I know that someone wants to ride over 150 since he has been there.

Oh they took it apart and now the Repairs went up to $16,000.
Damn they totaled her. but, I love her.. oh god. what am I going to do..
