it looks like it shares the same parts bin as Gen2 , the rear swing axle looks to be same design , you know the part which has the paint flaking off

The 99 rider looks to be a much smaller pilot.

I was about to say that also, rider is much shorter on the '99.

I'd think the aero is improved, at least for LSR I'm hoping so...

I dont like the sharp edges , gen 1 and 2 have nice curves , gen 3 seems a bit zx

Personally, I'm disappointed.

Looks like someone beat the Busa with an ugly stick.
Those hideous ZX14 inspired vents on the side fairings and the monster chromed exhaust just ruin the look for me

That was what I thought. They might have made an effort to make it look a little like a ZX-14. Still a lot more classy looking in my opinion. I like the ZX-14's but some of those lines are pure gimmick.

The exhaust is part of the aerodynamics to taper back into wind coming over tail

If so, they will need to make some very large aftermarket mufflers.

I don t mind the look of the exhaust cans at least in the pictures

I don't mind the looks of the mufflers either but just think what the whole exhaust is doing to hp to comply with emissions.

Looks more slim line compared to the gen 2 or the hideous zx14 cans. Having said that , if you can get 4 of them, they might make cool table legs

Huh? 1340cc...they didn't even increase the engine displacement......

I figure lots of these will be sitting on the showroom floor for a long while....

....and even Bridgestone Battlax S22's on it.....
