as long as a person throws a leg over it..and is not laying in it like a tube..it's a motorcycle

what was the distance ?

1.5-Mile at Loring Maine! :thumbsup: Home

wow...ive had people try to tell me that hayabusas still dont hold the land speed record. lol

The Hayabusa has had pretty much every record since it was introduced in 1999.

Even the motorcycle stream liners going 370+ are BUSA powered... :laugh:

Was this in one mile , if so WOW

This run was 1.5-Mile but I'm sure Bill will be back at Texas for the 1-Mile record... :thumbsup:

Whats the difference between this and the stream liners??? The stream liners are completely enclosed??? Is that the difference ???

Congrats on record :bowdown:

This was such an incredible moment in the history of motorcycles, Land Speed Racing, the Hayabusa family, etc. I'm still on a high!!!

Congratualtions Bill! :bowdown::cheerleader:

Congrats on record :bowdown:

Lots of differences but the main thing is the stream liners are fully enclosed and you sit IN it. It's more or less a tube frame race chassis built around the rider...

Inside Rocky Robinson's Ack Attack Streamliner

Bill's bike is a completely different class and he sits ON the bike. If you swapped out the fairings you'd think it was a regular BUSA (other than the massive Turbo and other changes).

Bill is ONLY the third person in THE WORLD to go over 300+mph on a motorcycle and the only one to do it with a SIT ON motorcycle... :thumbsup:
