Another scam on Cycletrader

I e-mailed him and he responded in about 3 minutes... hmmmm. I'll post...





Michelle, he lists a vin # in the add but I dont know if thats real or...

A quick call to your insurance company would verify that it at least is a real VIN...kind of surprised he has one listed...I never looked at the ad, just been reading the thread...figured I've seen so many scams, I know how they work...

Post what he says...curious to see if he does start saying he's in WV! Enough guys/gals email him from here and he'll be so confused, HE won't even know where he is!

Ralph, did you notice the bottom of the page warnings at cycle trader? Why do you insist on using an escrow account? Myself and others from mc websites have just been dickin with ya. I am pissed that you and other sugarbritches like you are taken advantage of true motorcycle enthusiasts! I will do everything possible to warn people and may this scam come back to bite you in the ass!

As sad as it may seem ladies and gentlemen you would be amazed at how many gullable individuals actually fall for such deception. It's getting close to spring and all the bike festivals are preparing. People are desparate for that special 2-wheel partner. Think about it, if it never worked would anyone do it. Be fortunate we all have enough common sense not to get duked. I feel sorry for those that do.

People keep him on a short leash. I'm going to try to locate him when he emails me back.

I'm gonna tell him I have an escrow account and I have arranged to have the money sent when I give my personal escrow representative a phone call. I seriously want to track him down and people show up on his doorstep. that would be awesome!!!!

I have the same kind of problems selling a car on carsdirect.com.
Now its the buyers that are fakes.
They are offering me more than what I ask and ask me to wire transfer the difference.
Everytime I talk about cash, I stop hearing from them.
In 4 months, got 6 buyers, all fakes.

find his ass so we can all go whip dat azz. i bought my bike online, but i didnt give any money till i saw the bike it was about a 3hr ride from me but it was worth it ... so just let everybody u know to be carefull when buying anything online, cycletrader , ebay...etc.

Most of these scams dont even have a bike they steal the photo off the web some place like here. Last month cycletrader had a busa pictured and the bottom corner said Hayabusa.org but no one knew who's it was...

Neither fedex or UPS will ship a bike....too heavy and bulky, not to mention their haz mat concerns. It would have to be shipped via a motor carrier or some other truck transfer company. That should always be your first clue to these BS scams
