i think i want the blue/silver model over the black/grey(canada) but i want to have everything on it polished (rims,frame, swingarm, etc) and i was looking at pics of the blue/silver and i'm not sure if the polishing would look good with the silver paint. what do you think? i guess you could also compare it to the copper/silver because the silver is the same. so if you have a silver/copper busa or some pics of the blue/silver model have a look at them and try to picture everything polished on it and let me know your opinon on how that would look - good, bad, not match because of the silver paint. thanks alot guys your replys mean alot

that's one reason i don't want the black/grey it is just to much care looking after the black, plus i want everyone to know i have a 2000 model,the 2000 black is the same as the 1999. just wondering how a fully polished bike will stand out with the silver??????????

Mine is black and gray and I just had the stock wheels polished and then powder clear-coated for easy maintenance. The result came out fairly muted rather than highly polished. It works very well, looks good with my polished aluminum Two Brothers mufflers and eliminates the black hole effect of the stock wheels on the black bike. I get compliments on the bike, that's what it's all about.
 
The blue/silver and chrome wheels will look kick a.s.s.- are you kidding me? Those are one of the best color combo's going.................except for the copper silver of course.............
 
vegasdude - i think the rims would also look good, but what about the frame, swingarm and other bits? do you think it will go good with the silver? you've seen this bike with your own eyes, i've just seen the pics that you took at the show. as always i imagine that pics don't do it as much justice as what a peek in real life would. i just want to make sure that this bike (blu/silv) will look good if fully polished.

Personally i think the blue would look great with polished frame, and swingarm. The silver would be a nice accent. You really cant go wrong with polishing the frame and swing arm with any color.
